This is a hard question to answer without knowing all the information about the exact boiler. However, some things you might want to consider when making the decision include:

The age of the boilerIf your boiler is quite old, it may work out better for you to replace the boiler as opposed to having it repaired. Although the repair may be cheaper, it's possible that an older boiler will break again in the near future.

The cost of repairIf the cost of repairing your boiler is going to exceed the cost of a replacement then it's better to replace the boiler. Replacing a boiler is usually quite quick and can be done by any qualified heating and plumbing specialist. When my boiler broke down, I decided it would be easier and more cost-effective, so I had it replaced in a couple of days by a company offering boiler replacement in South London.
